Our Project Finance Process

1. Initial Consultation:

We provide a complimentary one-hour consultation to conduct a high-level due diligence review, verifying that the market, sector and organisation are appropriate for investment.

2. Preliminary Approval:

Our investment committee provides verbal approval, giving a preliminary indication of interest subject to satisfactory due diligence, supported by a comprehensive business plan in the prescribed format.

3. Business Plan and Due Diligence:

We review all the information provided by the client and conduct a detail due diligence exercise to asse the commercial viability of any facilitated investment. A business plan is then prepared, after conducting an independent market research and verification of any statement of facts.

4. Consultancy Fees:

Fees for the business plan and due diligence are determined based on the complexity of the work required and are paid in advance before any work commences as part of the project’s onboarding process.

5. Investment committee:

Serity Consulting endorses the project by presenting the approved business plan to our investment committee, thereby ensuring funding can be secured.

6. Terms Sheet:

A term sheet is generated and presented to the client which is based on various factors such as company stage, sector and risk.

7. Deposit:

The organisation seeking investment would be required to pay a non-refundable deposit which it will be used to demonstrate commitment to the project.

8. Legal Agreements:

Our legal department will prepare all the necessary legal frameworks and agreements in relation to any proposed investment.

9. Funds Secured for the Project:

Once all parties have signed the legal agreements, the funds are then made available for the project which will then be deployed in line with the business plan.

10. Success Fee:

A success fee is payable to Serity Consulting upon successful funding, reflecting our ability to deliver on our commitment.
